Travel STEP 1: Fly to a Caribbean Gateway city and then transfer to Road Town, Tortola. FROM THE UNITED STATES: Fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico and then take a commuter flight (American Eagle, LIAT, Air Sunshine or Cape Air) to Beef Island, Tortola (EIS), then 9-mile cab ride to Road Town. FROM EUROPE: Fly Iberia, British Airways or American Airlines to San Juan and then transfer to Beef Island, Tortola as above. British Airlines flies to Antiqua, Virgin Atlantic to St. Lucia, Air France and KLM to St. Maarten, then transfer to Beef Island, Tortola (EIS) as above (American Airlines, LIAT, and Cape Air). You will go through customs at the ferry docks in Road Town, West End or at the Beef Island airport. YOU WILL NEED A PASSPORT! STEP 2: Road Town to Cooper Island Sit back, relax and enjoy the 25-minute crossing to Cooper Island. At arrival, the Beach Club staff will transport your luggage and provisions to your cottage and help you get settled. Should you have any questions or problems, they will take care of them for you. NOTE: Usually guests should plan on spending the first night of their visit on Tortola. This allows time for provisioning in the morning prior to departing for Cooper Island. When departing Cooper Island, the Beach Club boat leaves Cooper at 7:30 AM. They will come for your luggage about 7:15AM. This allows plenty of time to catch ferries and flights back to,”the real world.”
